GEMchem are proud to have partnered with Northern Health and Social Care Trust as part of a drive to increase efficiency and sustainability within their steam and hot water systems.

Using our range of innovative Cetamine products, we have been able to make impactful changes both environmentally and economically, learning from the data as we go.

Environmental impact

A big part of our relationship with Northern Health and Social Care Trust has been balancing sustainability with economy. The treatment plan we put in place lowered their chemical dosage rates whilst increasing thermal efficiency.

Ultimately, it will always be fuel and water consumption that have the biggest bearing on both costs, but with Cetamine products there is no longer a tough choice to be made.

Increasing reliability

Our Cetamine treatment products drop into existing systems, meaning no alteration or replacement is required. These FDA-approved chemicals produce a mono-molecular film on all wetted surfaces, reducing corrosion caused by dissolved oxygen and carbonic acid.

This all adds up to a service that doesn’t just cut costs and emissions, but future-proofs plants like Northern Health and Social Care Trust’s, too.
